Every time on Christmas Break I always get exited because you get an exiting feeling on Christmas, don’t you? Anyways, after our Christmas Break ends I would like everyone to comment on this post and say a short telling to me about what you did over your break. If your break was later than mine tell what you are going to do. By the way, my Christmas Break started the day after December 21st on Friday then we were off for two weeks.

When I started my first post, I put it on my blog and I started to write more. When you have your own blog you’ll be proud of yourself. Also, another fact is that when you get widgets on your blog it makes it have detail. My teacher actually made our website name. Then, we created our own blogs. This is my response for When Jessie Came Across the Sea. Here is the picture of the book.
This story is about a girl named Jessie and her grandmother who are poor and the preist calls everyone down to the church for a message. The preist said that he was supposed to go to the “Promised Land, ” but he needs to put someone in his place. So then everytime he heard a knock it was a person saying how brave or strong they are. The next day, Jessie is out with her grandmother and they come upon the preist. Then, the preist said to Jessie that she would be taking his place. Jessie didn’t know what to do, so then Jessie set off across the ocean and cried as she got farther away from land. In the end, Jessie came back from the “Promise Land” and hugged her grandmother.
I also know why they called it the “Promise Land”, it was because American soldiers fought brave for America.
That was my response.
My Authors Purpose Project took me three stories to write, and one picture to draw my class pet guinea pig. Then, after all of my stories I put together a poster with to big sized papers. In the end, I drew a picture of my class pet S’more. Now here is my longer story about it. At first, I wrote a couple of stories. My Perswasive, Informational, and my Entertaining. You have to remember that those three words stand for PIE. I wrote my rough draft stories in at least three days or more. Then, I wrote my final copies in at least two days. Finally, I put my poster together and glued all of my papers to it. After that, I drew a picture of S’more and glued that on, too. In the end, I got done just in time for lunch. Now, that was my story so you can ask any questions or comment on my blog I’d love to here from you.

What does your family do for Christmas? Mine goes to my grandma’s house and we get more presents from Aunts and Uncles and celebrate Christmas. Then, we have a big dinner.
